Letters to the Editor From: Joe Do I even try to waste a rebuttal to my brother-in-law (a jack ass, I mean democrat)? Arguing about the recent debate over American's held without being charged with a crime for over a year...I'm sure you too have been following it...read below. You know the Democrat's symbol is a donkey... I don't want to rekindle this argument today but I just had to send the following quote from Benjamin Franklin which I read in a legal magazine today put out by the North Carolina Academy of Trial Attorneys. The purpose of the article is to do away with the Patriot Act Now I will shut up. "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
